Because you know what a stickler I am for creating reviews, here is a review I did for Trip Advisor on the new Vdara hotel in Las Vegas:
Vdara was truly an incredible experience in Vegas. We normally stay at The Bellagio when in Vegas, so I was a little nervous to make the switch to this non-gaming, new hotel. WOW! It was incredible. As soon as you walk through the doors you realize what an oasis it is. The non-existent smoke smell was a literal breath of fresh air and the warmth from the lobby, without lines and a bazillion people walking around was a treat. The hotel is also situated on a perfect location on the strip; accessible to all areas and easy to get a cab to downtown. The rooms were impeccable.
My only complaints for the whole trip was the housekeeping service wasn’t prompt and we had to ask, plead, and beg to get someone to bring us linens for the sleeper sofa. It took 2 trips to the front desk and repeated calls, at 1am to get someone to help. We ended up making the bed ourselves once we finally got the linens. We informed the front desk the next morning and then issued us a credit on the “resort fees.”
Overall, it was an incredible stay and we will DEFINITELY be staying at the Vdara over the Bellagio every trip to Vegas.
