Vegas = Happy Place. MY happy place to be exact.
If you’ve never been to Las Vegas, or at least not in recent years, it truly is sensory overload. Everything from the gleaming lights, fantastic music, awesome collection of shows, delectible restaurants…. the list goes on. Vegas is most certainly adult Disneyland, and a hell of a lot of fun if you ask me.
We started our trip with a Continental upgrade to first class (every flight is more fun like that).
As soon as we arrived the boys made their flying leap off the 108 story tall Stratosphere on the “Sky Jump”. I’m actually shocked they did it.
We dined at fabulous places like Julian Serrano, Holstein’s, Aureole, SushiSAMBA and Spago and booked seats to see Jersey Boys and Love. Not only were the shows and cuisine amazing, The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas hotel was incredible.
From the moment we checked in at The Cosmo, we knew we were in for a treat. The less-than-year-old property was more glamorous than any other on the strip. With a boutique hotel feel, the staff was friendly and helpful without being annoying. The hotel had all of the amenities of the mega hotels without the overwhelming crowds and plumes of cigarette smoke. It was heaven… as was the 57th floor balcony room overlooking the Bellagio Fountains on the Strip.
Overall, it was an amazing “Sinsgiving” and I can’t wait to go back! Check in later this week for an overview of some of the amazing restaurants, shows and shopping in Vegas that are musts when in town!
