So far Chicago and I aren’t friends.

As D’s birthday quickly approaches, my flight to Chicago today was cancelled. I have been planning to meet him in Chicago, as he has been there for work all week. The plan was fool proof… 2 nights, deep dish pizza, the bean (or whatever it’s called), all making for a fun birthday weekend celebration. (This is the last year of his twenties after all.)

And then came the snow. Up to 8″ inches today to be exact…
